Say Cheese and Die! Check out the first trailer for Dimension Films' "Polaroid"

There's something about cameras.

Following hot on the heels of the recent Chiller Films release, Camera Obscura, the first trailer for the upcoming Polaroid, courtesy of Dimension Films, has just arrived.

The film, set to release on August 25, 2017, centers around a vintage Polaroid camera.

Guess what happens to anyone who is unlucky enough to be photographed by it? That's right, they die.

First-time feature director Lars Klevberg has assembled a pretty good cast of genre regulars, including Kathryn Prescott (Skins, Reign and 24:Legacy), Mitch Pileggi (The X-Files), Grace Zabriskie (The Grudge), Keenan Tracey (Bates Motel), and Javier Botet (Mama, It).

It's safe to say that the majority of young adults - the target audience - have never even held the once-ubiquitous Polaroid camera.

But, based on the creepy as eff trailer below, odds are that this potential mash-up of Final Destination and The Ring will still scare up a healthy opening weekend.
